Mission of Cobb Sports Council Home / Sports Council / Mission of Cobb Sports Council MISSION The mission of the Cobb Sports Council is to bring together the venues, the community, the housing, the financial support necessary to attract sports events to Cobb County. ECONOMIC IMPACT The Cobb Sports Council was formed in 2005 and is an extension of the Cobb County Convention & Visitors Bureau. We have hosted more 30 events in the past two years, which have had an Economic Impact of over $64 million. The Cobb Sports Council wants to help make your visit to Cobb County as easy as possible. We are ready to help you bring any type of sporting event to Cobb County. From baseball to water skiing to lacrosse, we do it all!
