Explore the physical, cultural, ideological borders that contributed to the American Civil War through computer programs and interactive artifact reproductions.  By looking at the way borders were drawn and perceived before, during, and after the war, visitors develop a deeper comprehension of the different and sometimes contentious meanings of personal "liberty."  A productions of the Cincinnati Museum Center.

Ultimate Playdate

The popular seasonal event known as the Ultimate Playdate encourages families to take a mid-week break for some fresh air and family-friendly tunes. Each Wednesday from 4 to 7pm until October 1 (weather permitting) Jay Memory, founding member of the national act Memory Dean, performs old favorites and leads children in sing-alongs. Hula hoops, balls, Frisbees and other outdoor toys are available for guests to play with during the performance.

This is the EIGHTH year of this event, with each year growing bigger than the last (LAST YEAR WE HAD 70 TEAMS IN JUST 5 AGE GROUPS). In the past this event has involved teams from all over the state, as well as AL, TN, SC, NC, AR, and FL. To accommodate the growing demand for this event, this year marks the third year of the event being split into 2 weekends. This will allow for bigger individual age groups, as well as more field time at the East Cobb Complex and All Tournament Players Park for all the teams.
